God Of War on PS Vita.

regardless of what the announcement is, it won't involve the ps4. i say that because some people on this forum got the idea that the ps4 has something to do with this. if i had to guess at what the announcement is, i'd say either a new red dead redemption or god of war on the ps vita

I'm hoping for something more interesting than another God of War (waits to see which gif he'll use next :P )

Are we 100% on GoW4? From that, one could take it as openly confirming LBP3: Legends of Sony.

I jest of course. I'm just glad we're still going to see great games on the horizon for my pal, PS3. It shows, we don't need new hardware yet. If you know what you are doing, it still holds great potential. I hope it surpasses it's predecessors in every way.

Why should devs get new toys to play with when 95% of them aren't using the ones they got properly?

All I ask is for one more God of War title for the PS3. PS2 had two and PSP as well so it would be great to see the talent at Santa Monica Studios deliver one more for ps3.GHO5T-

I love ho people will accept franchises like Mario and Zelda going on for 30 years and dozens of games, yet a franchise that's less than a decade old with 3 main titles and 3 secondary titles is "milked".

No game has made killing Gods so visceral imo. God of War 3 was awesome. Can't wait for whatever this is.

Sounds like a prequel yeah. The trailer has a VERY nice artstyle to it, I think they improved upon the one they had in III. The music is fantastic!

Will be getting ultimate edition, or whatever edition they release, on day one! :D

DANGIT another prequel don't get me wrong I love God Of War but I kinda wanted to see the story move on to a different character and different mythology. Either way I won't be able to resist this one.

I passed on the other prequals (God of War: Origins) because I wasn't digging the updated psp graphics. I wasn't impressed by the graphics of that port.

I am excited about this prequal though with PS3 graphics.

I wonder what else they can add in the prequel. It feels like we've seen everything we need to know in Kratos story (Chains of Olympus, God of War, Ghost of Sparta, God of War 2 & then God of War 3.

I trust Sony Santa Monica studios will deliver another great title. I remember John Hight saying (Studio Director at Santa Monica) "We're going to be really careful about what we do next."

ugh... another one? they really need to let this story die.. what always killed the kratos saga for me was the pornagraphy, i mean seriously? was it really nessesary? mindblowing epic story then... that.. made me feel like a nerdy perv and ofcourse killed the story, there's no way u could take kratos seriously anymore after seeing that garbage so u quit playing, atleast i did..

God of War: Ascension sounds awesome. A prequel to the original trilogy, exploring the origins to Kratos' epic quest. :D
